Well, we'll be in Seattle at 11:38AM tomorrow, 6/9/07 - if all goes according to plan. We said lots of San Diego good byes today - the Prado & Balboa Park, Ocean Beach, Bloomingdales (yeah, ok - sorry - I will miss it!), our old house, and even some friends we won't see again for a very long time. Tonight we'll have a little get-together at Dana's - I'll post pictures when I can. Things are a little tough b/c there's no Internet at Dana's house (I'm at Starbucks doing this now)- but that's ok, more when we get to Seattle & have it at Courtney's house.
I haven't cried yet - might not until I get there, but here's hoping it all goes as smoothly as possible. Thanks to everyone who's made our last days here so incredibly fun & special!

19 Days Until We're Seattle-Bound
Well, at least this time my reason to blog is a bit different; we're all going somewhere as a family. The Bowman fam, Craig, Mia & Aviva, are embarking upon a new adventure. We're leaving the only home we've ever known as a family, San Diego, to live in Okinawa, Japan for 3 years. (Kabira Bay Beach is pictured here)
At this point, we only know how much weight we're allowed to bring and what the few people we know who are there already can tell us.
It's pretty exciting. Stay tuned....
